These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kenektic website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Kenektic, Inc. (“Kenektic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Kenektic is a social connection platform that uses artificial intelligence to help people build genuine human friendships. The Service includes:
kAI is an artificial intelligence. kAI is not a human, does not have feelings or consciousness, and cannot provide professional medical, legal, mental health, or financial advice. kAI is designed as a bridge to human connection, not a replacement for professional services or real human relationships.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including messages, photos, posts, and profile information (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Kenektic a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the right to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.
Profile photos may be reviewed for compliance with our guidelines. When identity verification is enabled, we may compare your profile photo to a verification selfie using AI-powered facial analysis to confirm that your profile photo represents you. Photos that do not pass verification will require updating. Verification selfies are stored securely and are not visible to other users.
kAI uses AI-powered compatibility analysis to suggest connections. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or behavior of any user you are introduced to. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Exercise the same caution you would when meeting anyone new. Kenektic is not responsible for any harm resulting from interactions between users, whether online or in person.
Communities are user-created and user-moderated group spaces. Community creators and moderators are responsible for enforcing their community's rules, subject to Kenektic's overall Terms and community guidelines. We may intervene when communities violate platform-wide rules. Content posted in communities is visible to all community members.
The Service, including its design, code, AI models, kAI's personality and behavioral systems, branding, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Kenektic, Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Kenektic does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. kAI's responses are AI-generated and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. We do not guarantee any specific outcome from using the Service, including finding compatible connections.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kenektic, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kenektic, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can restore it. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in behavior that threatens user safety, or if required by law. We will attempt to provide notice when reasonable, but reserve the right to act immediately when user safety is at risk.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. You agree to attempt to resolve any disputes informally by contacting us at legal@kenektic.com before initiating formal proceedings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
